Platform Housekeeping!
How to Navigate the site
Hello all new and old subs!
This page layout is still being built out, so I wanted to give readers a clear guide for what this platform is becoming and how to use it.
I will have the final version of this layout done by 06/08, so here is a look into what I want it to look like.
My main coverage is focused on two research tracks:
Optics
Physical AI
Optics is the original core of my work. This includes photonics, optical networking, fiber, lasers, transceivers, photodetectors, signal integrity, AI data-center interconnects, AI-RAN, and the broader supply chain behind AI data movement.
Physical AI is the next major research track I am building. This includes robotics, sensors, autonomy, edge compute, simulation, industrial automation, power, advanced manufacturing, and the physical systems that allow AI to move into the real world.
I will also cover adjacent AI infrastructure ideas when I think they are worth researching, but the bulk of this platform will stay focused on those two themes.
My goal is to find important AI infrastructure themes early, break them into investable layers, and track the companies that could benefit as those themes move from research to revenue.
How to use the top tabs
Right now it looks like this:
But in the next few weeks when I have everything written up, it will be broken down like this:
Optics
This will become the main hub for my optical supply-chain research.
Over time, this page will include the optics mock ETF, active watchlist, TradingView chart links, companies I track, supply-chain layers, 12-month and 24-month financial models, bull/base/bear frameworks, and every article I have written tagged with each company and constantly updated.
Physical AI
This is the next major theme I am building out.
I am going layer by layer through the Physical AI trade, starting with the foundation and working toward the public companies that may benefit. Over time, this page will have the same structure as Optics: mock ETF, watchlist, models, company coverage, and article library. I am also thinking that I want to create a spreadsheet/graphic to actually reflect my Physical AI portfolio as I build it from scratch. What I am thinking is having a clean number, like $100,000 and put it aside for the Physical AI portfolio. Then as I add companies, I will update the spreadsheet and you guys will see what I am actively positioning in, real relative weightings, management etc. Let me know if you’d find this valuable!
AI Infra
This section is for adjacent AI infrastructure ideas that sit outside the main Optics and Physical AI buckets.
That could include power, data centers, software infrastructure, networking, memory, CPUs, security, edge infrastructure, or other companies tied to the broader AI buildout.
Earnings
This is where I track my highest-priority companies through earnings.
For key names, I usually aim to do three things:
Pre-earnings checklist
Live call notes when possible
Post-earnings breakdown with thesis and model updates
New Ideas
This is the early research pipeline.
Some ideas here may turn into full deep dives. Some may stay on the watchlist. Some may be rejected after more work.
I want readers to see the research process as it develops.
Archive
This is the full history of the platform.
Use this when you want to go back through older posts, prior thesis work, earnings updates, and theme research.
The simplest way to use the platform
Start with the theme: Optics or Physical AI.
Then work through the layers.
Then study the companies.
Then follow earnings to see whether the thesis is improving, stalling, or changing.
That is the process I use myself.
Theme first.
Layer second.
Company third.
Numbers fourth.
Then constant updates as the facts change.
This platform is still early, but that is the point. I am building the research library, the models, the watchlists, and the company coverage in real time.
The goal is to make technical AI infrastructure themes easier to understand, easier to track, and easier to invest around with structure.
So bare with me as I update the layout over the next few weeks and create all the documents that I want to create for each section.
Once this is done, it is going to be so streamlined and easy to navigate.
Thank you for all the support!
